Policy

1. Bookings

​

A booking request is **not automatically a confirmed appointment**. Your session will only be confirmed once MyBritishTutor has contacted you and confirmed the date and time.

2. Online Tutoring

​

All sessions take place online via **Google Meet**. Please ensure Google Meet is downloaded and working on your device before your first session. You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, camera and microphone.

3. Cancellations & Re-scheduling

​

Please give **at least 24 hours' notice** if you need to cancel or rearrange a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

We understand that emergencies happen and may use our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

4. Tutoring Packages

​

Package sessions must be used within **one month of purchase**.

For example, a package purchased on **5 April must be used by 5 May**. Any unused sessions after this date will normally expire and cannot be carried forward or refunded.

5. Payment

​

Sessions and packages must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed. Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received and the session has been confirmed by MyBritishTutor.

6. Late Arrival

​

If you arrive late, your session will normally still finish at the originally agreed time and the full session fee will apply.

​

7. Student Responsibility

​

Students should be ready to learn at the agreed time and have any required books, schoolwork or other materials available.

8. Results

​

While we aim to provide high-quality, personalised tutoring, we cannot guarantee specific grades, examination results or academic outcomes.

9. Agreement

​

By booking a session or purchasing a package, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
